He Survived the Street. Now He Needs Us to Survive the Treatment.

Injuries, infections, parvovirus, distemper our city's stray dogs face them every day. Our medical supplies are critically low. Without urgent restocking, we cannot treat the animals already in our care.

Three weeks ago, our team picked up a dog from the middle of a busy road. He had been hit by a vehicle. Both his front legs were badly injured. He was in shock, barely conscious.

We brought him in. Our vet worked through the night.

He made it.

His name is Kalu now. He is learning to walk again. He eats properly for the first time in what looks like months.

But here is the truth we need you to know: when Kalu came in, we used the last of our wound-care supplies on him. We had to place an emergency order the next morning. That order cost us ₹12,000 we did not have budgeted.

We got lucky that time. We may not get lucky next time.

Why This Cannot Wait

Right now, we have 9 animals in active recovery at our facility. Three are post-surgery. Two have parvovirus. One is being treated for a severe skin infection that had gone untreated for months on the street.

Every single one of them needs daily medication, wound dressing, IV fluids, or nutritional support.

Our current medical supplies will run out in 10 days.

If an animal comes to us after that and animals come to us every week we will not have what we need to help them.

What Your Support Helps Us Do

  • Medicines Antibiotics, antiparasitics, pain relief, and parvovirus treatment drugs
  • Wound Care Bandages, antiseptic solutions, suture kits, and post-surgery dressings
  • Vaccines Rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and leptospirosis vaccination stock for new rescues
  • Diagnostics Basic blood test kits and infection screening supplies for intake assessment
  • Emergency Buffer A 45-day medical supply reserve so we never face a shortage mid-treatment
₹1,000 covers the full medication course for one recovering animal. Kalu is walking again because someone had what he needed, at the moment he needed it. Please help us be ready for the next Kalu.
